Membina Kumpulan Circle Time

Mula-mula lukis bulatan di atas lantai atau menggunakan tape berwarna jika perlu. Dengan menggunakan kapur atau tape, tulis huruf awal nama setiap kanak-kanak di sekeliling bulatan. Satu cara lain untuk mengenalkan tempat kanak-kanak ialah dengan memberikan pictogram ( mengikut tema) kepada setiap kanak-kanak yang secara tidak langsung dapat memandu mereka mengambil tempat di sekeliling bulatan berpandukan pictogram tersebut.

Menggunakan nombor

Cetak, laminate dan pamerkan nombor di sekeliling bulatan. Berikan setiap nombor kepada setiap kanak-kanak. Kad nombor boleh juga digantung dari atas siling ke bawah tempat kanak-kanak duduk atau lekatkan di meja tulis kanak-kanak. Anda boleh juga menggunakan juga tanda-tanda lain untuk setiap kanak-kanak. Tanda atau simbol mestilah sentiasa sama dan bersesuaian dengan umur kumpulan kanak-kanak.

Membentuk kumpulan
Pilih sesuatu bunyi haiwan untuk setiap kanak-kanak . Buat setiap bunyi sebagai isyarat untuk kanak-kanak masuk ke dalam bulatan. ( bunyi boleh juga menunjukkan tema anda pada hari tersebut)

Isyarat Lampu
Buka dan tutup lampu mengikut ritma tertentu. Isyarat ini biasanya berkesan jika anda mempunyai kumpulan yang sangat aktif. Ia juga merupakan cara untuk membuatkan kumpulan menjadi senyap. Cuba aktiviti ini beberapa kali sepanjang aktiviti harian untuk melihat berapa lama masa yang akan diambil untuk mereka berkumpul.

Lagu atau rima
Bila kanak-kanak mendengar lagu tertentu atau rima yang mereka tahu untuk mengambil tempat sekeliling bulatan. Pilih lagu kegemaran anda dan buatkan ia sebagai tanda circle time akan bermula.

Circle time and group activities

Pass the Egg

Have the children sit in a circle. Give each child a plastic spoon. Have one child be the starter and give them a a plastic egg. Have the children pass around the egg using the spoons. See if it can go around the entire circle without being dropped.

Ping Pong Race

Need ping pong balls
straws

Start line and finish line. Divide the class into two groups. The goal is to blow the ping pong ball down the path and across the finish line. Let them use straws to blow the ping pong balls to the finish. You can do this as a relay race and watch them cheer each other on.
